Natural First-Aid Salve
God provides us with plants that actually help lessen inflammation, nourish, and heal us of bug bites, wounds, and rashes. These healing salves/ointments are a perfect addition to your first-aid kit or purse for “on the go”. You never know when someone may need relief from a skin ailment.
Each plant is hand picked, dehydrated, infused in oil, combined with grass fed beef tallow, beeswax, raw honey, and vitamin E oil.

Valuable Ingredients in Your Salves:
Bug Bite Salve:
*Plantain: helps relieve pain and bring down inflammation in bee stings and bug bites.
Rash/Dry Skin Salve:
*Calendula: helps calm and lessen redness and eases skin discomfort in rashes, dry skin, eczema, and even diaper rash.
Soothing Burn Salve:
*Lavender: helps soothe the skin and promotes healing.
*Chamomile: it has emollient, moisturizing, and skin-rejuvenating properties. Paired with Lavender, these two are a great team when it comes to healing burns.
Cuts & Scrapes Salve:
*Yarrow: has been used throughout history by soldiers to help stop bleeding of wounds, so it is great for outdoor cuts, scrapes, and even deeper wounds.
All Salves:
Grass-Fed Tallow: Tallow and human skin are incredibly compatible. Grass-fed tallow contains essential vitamins that help your skin perform a host of functions that help it maintain a healthy state. These nutrients are an easy-to-absorb source of nourishment to the skin that simply aren't matched by plants in terms of concentration and bioavailability.
*Raw Honey: Our honey is locally harvested right on our homestead! Raw Honey draws moisture from the air and binds it to the skin. This added hydration gives the skin a fresh, youthful glow and suppleness, making fine lines and wrinkles less noticeable. Honey also contains natural antioxidants that fight free radicals, one of the leading causes of premature aging.
*These ingredients are harvested on our farm. No chemicals or pesticides are used at all on our property.
Additional Note: If placed in a warm environment, Faithful Farmhouse products may get soft. This is normal and does not cause any change in the product. Simply store in a cool place. Additionally, if placed in a cool environment, products may be more firm.
